Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

Introduction

SnifPost ("we", "us", or "our") operates the SnifPost web application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use SnifPost.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at sales@snifpost.com.

Information we collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (if provided), and authentication data managed through Neon Auth. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive basic profile information from that provider.

X (Twitter) connection data: If you connect an X account, we store OAuth tokens (encrypted at rest), connected account identifiers, and connection status so SnifPost can monitor posts and send replies on your behalf.

Product and outreach data: We store product profiles, landing page URLs, keyword monitors, matched tweet content, AI-generated reply drafts, outreach history, and approval or send status.

Billing data: If you subscribe, Creem processes payments. We store subscription status, plan identifiers, and Creem customer or subscription references — not full payment card numbers.

Landing page content: When you provide a website URL during onboarding, we may fetch and process public page content to understand your product positioning.

Technical data: We collect standard server logs, request metadata, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember locale preferences.

How we use information

We use your information to authenticate you, operate keyword monitoring on X, generate and send reply drafts, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and security.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We rely on third-party processors to run SnifPost, including: Neon (authentication and database hosting), Creem (subscription billing), Resend (sign-in email codes), OpenRouter (AI reply drafting), xQuik (X monitoring infrastructure), the X API (account connection and posting), Vercel (application hosting), and Cloudflare Browser Rendering (landing page fetching).

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies, limited to what is needed to deliver the service.

Data retention

Outreach attempt and draft history is kept in a rolling 30-day window for operational and history features. Older outreach records are deleted automatically by our retention job.

Account, product, billing, and connection data is retained while your account is active and as needed to meet legal, security, or billing obligations.

Your rights and choices

You can update account details in settings where available. You can disconnect your X account at any time.

SnifPost does not currently offer self-service account deletion in the app. To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, email us at sales@snifpost.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication (Neon Auth session cookies) and UI preferences (such as sidebar_state). We do not use advertising cookies.

Security

We apply technical safeguards including encrypted storage for sensitive tokens and access controls around production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards when data crosses borders.

Children

SnifPost is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when changes are posted. Continued use of SnifPost after changes means you accept the updated policy.
